EBITDA guidance for 2017 increased to USD 165-175 million

According to the draft interim financial statement for the third quarter 2017 the EBITDA  for the quarter is better than was anticipated in the last EBITDA guidance for the year, which was published on July 27^th 2017 and amounted to USD 150-160 million. The prospects for the fourth quarter are also better. Hence, the revised EBITDA guidance for 2017 is USD 165-175 million.

According to the draft interim financial statement, EBITDA for the third quarter is USD 161.1 million. The main reasons for better results are higher passenger revenue and favourable currency trends, which weighs more than unfavourable development of oil prices.

Icelandair Group will publish its results for the third quarter of 2017 on Thursday 26 October 2017. A presentation will be held on Friday 27 October 2017 at Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Natura. The presentation will start at 8:30 am (GMT) in room 4-5.
