First F2 Pilot project in the UK

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead Council has signed an agreement with cBrain to pilot F2.

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead Council is thereby the first government organization in the UK to test the Danish F2 model for digital public administration and the F2 platform.

F2 represents a new type of integrated production system for government work, which has been developed in close collaboration with a number of Danish ministries. The integrated F2-solution supports all-in-one case processing, knowledge sharing, formal as well as informal communication, government workflows, document and records management. F2 supports access from PCs, mobile devices as well as tablets, and many Danish Ministers as well as permanent secretaries run F2 on their iPad in order to manage meetings material, submissions and approvals.

Today F2, which is a 100% standard solution, is used at 10 Danish ministries, including the Prime Ministers Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, as well as many government agencies. Based on F2, government organisations in Denmark have achieved significant measurable effects including increased productivity, increased quality of work as well as higher employee job satisfaction. The Danish Ministry of Transport and the Danish Ministry of Climate and Energy received the national digitization award based on the efficiency gains which they achieved due to their F2 implementation.
