Citycon's share capital increase entered in the Trade
Register

Citycon Oyj's share capital increase of EUR 15,120,000 related to
the directed
share offering has today been entered in the Trade Register. The
11,200,000 new
shares are estimated to be recorded in the book-entry accounts
of the
shareholders and subject to public trading as of 27 October 2005. The
new shares
entitle to full dividend (if any) to be distributed as of the
financial year
commenced on 1 January 2005 and entitle to other rights
attached to the shares in
the company as of today.

After the increase the
registered share capital of Citycon Oyj amounts to EUR
183,860,128.80 and the
total number of shares to 136,192,688.
