Citycon's share capital increase entered in the Trade
Register

Citycon Oyj's share capital increase of EUR 16,200,000 related to
the directed
share offering 2005 has today been entered in the Trade Register.
The 12,000,000
new shares are estimated to be recorded in the book-entry
accounts of the
shareholders and subject to public trading as of 3 August
2005. The new shares
entitle to full dividend (if any) to be distributed as of
the financial period
commenced on 1 January 2005 and entitle to other rights
attached to the shares in
the company as of today.

After the increase the
registered share capital of Citycon Oyj amounts to EUR
168,426,928.80 and the
total number of shares to 124,760,688.
