The Serbian Commercial Appellate Court annulled the decision of the Belgrade Commercial Court and returned the case for re-examination

Alytus, Lithuania, 2014-03-04 17:38 CET -- On 3/03/2014 Company Group “ALITA”, AB, code 302444238, registered office at Miškininkų g. 17, Alytus, the Republic of Lithuania (hereinafter – the Company) received the judgment of the Serbian Commercial Appellate Court in Serbian language. From the translated resolution part of the decision it is clear that the Serbian Commercial Appellate Court annulled the decision of lower instance court - the Belgrade (Serbia) Commercial Court - and returned the case for re-examination to the Belgrade Commercial Court. By the previous decision the Belgrade Commercial Court had annulled the partial award concerning the jurisdiction of the Foreign Trade Court of Arbitration at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce of 15/11/2011, whereby the Company had been included in arbitration proceedings as a respondent. More detailed information on the previous decision of the Belgrade Commercial Court was announced by the Company in the Company’s 06/11/2012 notification on material event.
