Regarding the LESTO activities unplanned review of National Control Commission for Prices and Energy.

LESTO informs that National Control Commission for Prices and Energy (hereinafter “Commission“) performed the unplanned review of LESTO regulated activity, which purpose was to check usage of funds of public service obligations for electricity (produced from renewable energy sources) producers hereinafter “Producers”) for the period of 24 May 2011 – 01 July 2013. 1112 contracts, concluded between LESTO and Producers, were examined during the unplanned review.
On 17 December 2013 Commission adopted the desicion to aprove the act of the unplanned review and decided that LESTO improperly applied the fixed rates for 5 Producers and misapplied concessions of electricity connection fees for 19 Producers and thus improperly used 175.606,44 LTL of funds of public service obligations.
LESTO hereby informs that it will take all necessary measures in order to timely eliminate the violations specified by the Commission and implement the Commission’s obligations for the purpose to avoid sanctions for LESTO.
