IT – INET Nordic – PROD: Actively-Managed Funds segments value added data in GCF - (69/13)

As previously communicated in IT Notices 38/13 and 64/13, NASDAQ OMX Nordic is launching two new segments on NASDAQ OMX Helsinki and NASDAQ OMX Stockholm. The new segments will be called OMX HEL Actively-Managed Funds and OMX STO Actively-Managed Funds. The launch of these segments will be on September 26, 2013. This notice provides additional information regarding the value added data for the market segments below.

Exchange/MIC Segment name Segment symbol Currency Seq.no
XHEL OMX HEL Actively-Managed Funds FIEQ AMF EUR 199
XSTO OMX STO Actively-Managed Funds SEEQ AMF SEK 200

Genium Consolidated Feed (GCF) will distribute value added information:

The value added information for the instruments within the Actively-Managed Funds segments such as iNAV will be sent through GCF in the TIP-message AfeedReportingOfUnitTrust (ARUt). There will be a minimum of three daily updates of iNAV per instrument as set within the NASDAQ OMX Issuer Rules.

The information disseminated for Actively-Managed Funds via the AfeedReportingOfUnitTrust (ARUt) includes:

Field name Comments
SequenceNumber
IdCode
BatchId
Isin
ProductionDate
InfoCreatedTime
IssuingPrice Subscription price (optional)
RedemptionPrice Redemption price (optional)
NetAssetValue indicative Net Asset Value for these instruments, i.e. iNAV
NumberOfCertificates i.e. Units in Fund. Not used for these market segments until next TIP release
ReportType Will always be empty until new report type implemented in next TIP release to distinguish between iNAV and end of day NAV where applicable

These arrangements do not impact the current reporting of Danish Unit Trust Certificates using the same TIP-message AfeedReportingOfUnitTrust (ARUt).

This initial setup is due to be enhanced within the next TIP release in Q4 2013. The enhanced solution is planned to include a new report type that can be used to distinguish between intraday iNAVs and end of day NAV, and to enable the reporting of Assets Under Management. Additionally, “Units in Fund”/”Number of certificates” is planned for inclusion in the new release. Until that point, this information should be found in the funds’ own websites. Details of the enhanced solution for Actively-Managed Funds will be communicated separately through the TIP release and GDP communications.

Time Schedule

  • INET Test/GCF4 – currently available
  • INET Prod/GCF Prod – September 26, 2013 (interim solution)
  • INET Prod/GCF Prod – November 25, 2013 (complete solution, GCF 2.4.7)
