On 26 April, administration of Frunze district of St. Petersburg (Russia), has admitted that an attack on company Жилкомсервис №3 Фрунзенского района, member of City Service group, was a mistake.
Zilvinas Lapinskas, General Director of City Service, states he is convinced that investigations regarding the Group will soon be terminated after mistake has been acknowledged.
On 25 April President of Russian Federation Mr. Vladimir Putin has expressed his discontent with utility bills, when commenting on citizen complaints during on-air TV broadcast. In haste, administration of Frunze district made an inspection in wrong address, selecting a residential building which is maintained by City Service group. Procurators Office of St. Petersburg has started investigation on the grounds of the same false information.
Soon afterwards Russian media has announced, that complaints Mr. President Putin has commented on were received from a building which is maintained by a state owned company, and City Service group was drawn into this story by mistake.
