A Letter of Intent was signed regarding negotiations with the temporal administrator of Ūkio bankas ABŠiauliai, Lithuania, 2013-02-13 16:19 CET --
On February 13, 2013 a letter of intent was signed with the Ūkio bankas AB, represented by the temporal administrator assigned by the Bank of Lithuania. Referring to and following the Article 761 of the Law on Banks of the Republic of Lithuania the assets, rights, transactions and liabilities of the bank to which the moratorium is declared can be transferred to another bank, it has been agreed by the above mentioned Letter to start negotiations regarding the likely transfer of the assets and liabilities of Ūkio bankas AB to Šiaulių bankas AB.
