Statistics for March 2012 and the first quarter of the 2012 financial year
In the first quarter of the 2012 financial year (January-March) AS Tallink Grupp transported 1 984 735 passengers which is slightly more compared to the previous year. The number of passenger vehicles increased by almost 4% to 210 141 and the number of trucks and trailers increased over 9% to 72 671 units in same comparison.
In March 2012 AS Tallink Grupp transported 712 054 passengers is nearly an 8% increase compared to March 2011.

The following operational factors influenced the development in March 2012:
LATVIA-SWEDEN
In March 2012 The cruise ferry M/S Romantika did not operate for 4 days because of a scheduled maintenance, the vessel was not replaced during that time.
FINLAND-GERMANY
Operations on the route were ended. The ships that previously operated there are chartered out of the group.
