As of June 4, 2012, NASDAQ OMX will upgrade Genium INET Clearing to support new settlement procedures as communicated via Exchange Messages, Derivatives – General Clearing Information 14/11 – New mandatory cash settlement structure for clearing members of NASDAQ OMX Clearing.
The new release will include optional API changes, updates of existing reports and new reports. The technical changes are listed here below.
OMnet API changes
There will be changes to existing Queries for Cash Settlement Information, a new set of Queries for Collateral Management Information (Default Fund) and new Broadcast and Queries for DvP Information (Securities Delivery vs Payment) have been added.

Cash Settlement Reports
There will be changes to the content of the existing Cash Settlement report. Settlement Account and Reference number are added to the first section below the currency. Cash Settlement Propagation is a new report that gives members a detailed overview of the total cash settlement for the respective settlement date. Examples of the changed and new reports are available at the Member Extranet, see address above.
Default Fund Requirement Report
Default Fund is introduced March 1st 2012, see Exchange Message, Derivatives – General Clearing Information 01/12 – NASDAQ OMX Member Sponsored Default Fund. A new report, Default Fund Requirement, will be added to Genium INET Clearing to enhance the Default Fund offering. An example of the report is available at the Member Extranet.
Genium INET Clearing enhancements time schedule
The clearing enhancements will be available in an External Test System from April 23rd and to be launched in Production on June 4th 2012. More details to be announced in March 2012.
