Traffic Data November 2011Icelandair´s load factor for the month of November is 77% and is 2.8 percentage points higher than last year
Icelandair carried 104 thousand passengers in November, an increase of 10% as compared to November last year. The capacity increase in the month was 8% and the seat load factor was 77.0% which equals a 2.8 percentage point increase from November 2010. The number of passengers increased in all of Icelandair’s markets, with the highest increase of 11% in the market to Iceland.
Air Iceland carried 27 thousand passengers in November, which was a decrease of 1% from November last year. Seat load factor was 67.4%. Sold hours in the capacity sector decreased by 9%. Freight increased by 14%.
The total number of available hotel room nights at Icelandair Hotels group was 17,850 nights and increased by 11% from last year. The room utilization rate was 55.9% and increased by 3 percentage points as compared to the same month last year.
