Construction contract - design and construction of E263 road section Aruvalla-Kose

Nordecon AS and joint bidder Ramboll AS signed a design and construction contract with Estonian Road Administration for E263 Tallinn-Tartu highway Aruvalla-Kose section.

Tallinn, Estonia, 2011-04-15 12:08 CEST -- Nordecon AS and joint bidder Ramboll AS signed a design and construction contract with Estonian Road Administration for E263 Tallinn-Tartu highway Aruvalla-Kose road section. A design and construction of four-lane highway that meets class I requirements is 13.3 kilometres long. The contract includes also the construction of feeder roads (20.1 kilometres), roads for light traffic (8.2 kilometres) and four bridges and viaducts. The total length of noise barrier walls and lighting installed is 6.9 and 19.3 kilometres respectively.

The value of the contract (without reserves for unexpected works) is 39.26 million euros, excluding VAT. The financing provided by European Union Cohesion Fund is 85 per cent of contract value.

Design works begin in April and construction according to preliminary plans in autumn 2011. The works end in August 2013.
