Nord Pool ASA has received the following message from
Exchange Appeals Board:  

In their meeting on 4 July the Exchange Appeals
Board reviewed the appeal by Alfakraft of the decision made by Nord Pool's
Board on 24 April to fine Alfakraft AB for the breach of the trading rules
prohibiting market manipulation.

The Appeals Board reached the following
decision:

The decision of the Board of the Exchange to impose a fine of NOK
700,000.- for the breach of the Market Conduct rules 5.1, ref the Securities
Trading Act §3-8 and to make the decision public in accordance with the Market
Conduct Rules 7.8 is sanctioned, nonetheless with the adjustment that the
imposed fine is reduced to NOK 500,000.-.

Vedtak fra Børsklagenemnden i ankesaken vedrørende Alfakraft AB

Nord Pool ASA har mottatt følgende melding fra Børsklagenemnden: 


Børsklagenemnden har i møte 4. juli 2008 behandlet klage fra Alfakraft AB
over Nord Pools børsstyre sitt vedtak 24. april 2008 om å ilegge Alfa Kraft AB
gebyr for overtredelse av forbudet mot markedsmanipulasjon.

Nemnden fattet
følgende vedtak:

Børsstyrets vedtak av 24. april 2008 om å ilegge Alfa Kraft
AB et overtredelsesgebyr på NOK 700.000 for brudd på Market Conduct Rules punkt
5.1, jf. verdipapirhandelloven § 3-8 og at avgjørelsen med hjemmel i Market
Conduct Rules punkt 7.8 offentliggjøres, opprettholdes, med den endring at
overtredelsesgebyret reduseres til NOK 500.000,-.
