REVIEW BY THE PRESIDENT AND CEO AND SHARE-BASED INCENTIVE SYSTEM
DISCUSSED AT
THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF YIT CORPORATION

YIT Corporation is holding its Annual General Meeting
today, March 10, 2010, at
1 p.m. President and CEO Juhani Pitkäkoski will
present a review of recent
events at YIT, including YIT's financial
statements for 2009 and future focus
areas. No essential new information
will be published in the review.

Henrik Ehrnrooth, the chairman
of the Board, will present at the AGM in
conjunction with the
authorisation of the Board of Directors to share buyback
and share issues a
new share-based incentive system being prepared by the Board
of Directors.
The objective of the incentive scheme would be to support YIT's
strategy of
profitable growth and supplement the already available incentive
schemes.
The incentive scheme would aim at promoting the employees in determined
work,
rewarding their good performance and committing them to long-term

persistent work. Shares would be handed over to employees during three

consecutive years based on the results of the previous years, so that a
maximum
of approximately 700,000 shares could be handed over to the employees
each year.
Employees included in the scope of the incentive scheme would be
obliged to not
transfer their shares within two years of having obtained
them; i.e., during a
commitment period. The Board would annually decide on
the performance criteria
and the employees included in the scope of the
incentive system, and the Board
would have the right to amend the rewards
under all circumstances in a
reasonable manner. In the case of 2010,
the performance criteria would be return
on investment and revenue growth, and
the incentive scheme would cover
approximately 250 employees.

The complete agenda of the AGM
was published on February 4, 2010. The AGM agenda
and the materials of the
review of President and CEO Juhani Pitkäkoski are
available on the YIT
website at www.yitgroup.com.
