Consolidated sales revenue of the Company group ALITA AB for the year
2009
amounted to LTL 139.9 million (EUR 40.5 million) and decreased by 31 per
cent
compared to the year 2008. 
Group‘s consolidated net result for the year
2009 amounted LTL 14.5 million
(EUR 4.2 million) loss. The result for the year
2008 was LTL 15.3 million (EUR
4.4 million) of losses. 
The group's
performance was influenced mainly by very unfavourable tax
environment in the
market in which the group companies are operating and the
overall sharp
decline in domestic consumption. In order to optimize the
activities of
Company group ALITA AB, operating expenses have been decreased by
LTL 32
million (EUR 9.3 million) or 44 per cent in 2009. 
The debt structure has
changed during the year 2009. Short term liabilities
decreased from LTL 115.9
million (EUR 33.6 million) in year 2008 to LTL 90.2
million (EUR 26.1 million)
in 2009, and the amount of long term liabilities
rose from LTL 27.8 million
(EUR 8.0 million) in 2008 to LTL 37.3 million (EUR
10.8 million) in 2009.
Total amount of liabilities decreased from LTL 143.7
million (EUR 41.6
million) to LTL 127.5 million (EUR 36.9 million) on a
year-to-year basis.
