Cramo Finland sells its diamond and floor grinding business to Kuusakoski
Cramo Finland Oy, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cramo Plc, and
Kuusakoski Oy have
signed an agreement concerning the purchase of Cramo
Finland's diamond drilling
and floor grinding business, whereby Kuusakoski
will purchase the whole diamond
drilling and floor grinding business from
Cramo. The business sale is scheduled
to take place on 1st February 2010.
The diamond drilling and floor
grinding business consists of 45 employees who
will continue their
employment as old employees at Kuusakoski. The sales of the
business in 2009
will be about EUR 3,7 million.
”According
to our strategy we will now concentrate on rental and rental related
services. I am pleased that we reached an agreement with Kuusakoski Oy, which
possesses excellent resources to further develop the business”, says Tatu
Hauhio, Managing Director of Cramo Finland.
The business transferred in the deal fits well with the current
service range of
Kuusakoski's demolition business. Kuusakoski's recycling,
handling and
demolition services for construction and other industry
will now be supported by
a competent and wide service network.

services and fits into our service
business strategy”, says Hannu Poutiainen,
Director of the Demolition
business at Kuusakoski Oy.
The parties to the
agreement have decided not to publish the purchase price.
