Componenta Corporation has received the following
statement dated 19
December 2003 from Heikki Lehtonen and Cabana Trade S.A.
concerning a
change in their shareholding:

"Notification of change of
shareholding in accordance with section 9
of chapter 2 of the Securities
Market Act

Heikki Lehtonen's share of the voting rights and share capital
of
Componenta Corporation has declined below 1/3 (33,3 %) with a
sale
effected 19 December 2003. Cabana Trade S.A.’s share of the
voting
rights and share capital of Componenta Corporation has exceeded
1/3
(33,3 %) with a sale effected 19 December 2003.

section 9 of chapter 2 of the Securities Market
