CRAMO AND HARTELA TO COOPERATE IN BUILDING SITE HUT SERVICES
CRAMO AND HARTELA TO COOPERATE IN BUILDING SITE HUT SERVICES

Cramo, one of the leading companies in equipment rental and related
services,
has agreed with Rakennusosakeyhtiö Hartela about outsourcing
building site huts.
In the initial phase Cramo acquires Hartela's entire fleet
of site huts.
Furthermore, Cramo takes over the order for additional
site huts that Hartela
already placed at Cramo Master (a site hut factory
within the Cramo Group). All
in all the agreement concerns approximately 200
site huts. The parties also
signed a five year cooperation agreement in
which Cramo undertakes to provide
Hartela all site huts, the installation
and service in the Helsinki metropolitan
area and Lahti region.

"The agreement is of strategic
importance as it is one of the first outsourcing
agreement in our industry in
Finland" says Tatu Hauhio, Managing Director of
Cramo Finland Oy. "Even
though it has been a while since we took the first step
towards this
agreement, concluding the terms of the cooperation has been very

uncomplicated".

"Outsourcing the whole site hut service to Cramo is beneficial for us.
This
helps us to estimate costs, but also to plan the whole construction
project,
because we do not need to consider this part anymore in
planning", says Jouko
Granqvist, Head of Machinery at Hartela. "The
delivery time for site huts may
sometimes be too long. With this
cooperation, Cramo will provide us the
necessary equipment within a
few weeks of a phone call and we no longer need to
wait for site huts to be
manufactured."

"Along the
cooperation, we know that there is always a certain amount of

maintained and functional site huts, which will cover our needs", Markku

Utriainen, Senior Vice President, adds.

Outsourcing site huts to Cramo releases Hartela's own resources for
other use in
projects.
