Cramo AB, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cramo Plc (Cramo), has signed a binding
letter of intent with Jaston Groep B.V. (Jaston), whereby Jaston will become
the
new owner of Cramo Nederland B.V. (CNL), a wholly owned subsidiary of
Cramo AB.
Jaston is a rental and scaffolding company active in the
Netherlands. The
transaction is expected to become effective on 11
April 2007, and Cramo
estimates that the sale of CNL will result in a
capital gain of some four (4)
million euros. The final figure will be based
on accounts to be prepared in
conjunction with closing of the
transaction. The parties have agreed that the
purchase price shall not be
disclosed.
CNL is a general
equipment rental company active in the Dutch rental market with
sales
amounting to approximately EUR 12.7 million in 2006, and a staff of 90.
The divestment of CNL is in line with Cramo's strategy to focus its
resources on
both its core Nordic markets, and its emerging core Central and
Eastern European
markets.
