Industrivärden contributes to Ericsson's Stock Incentive Program

Industrivärden contributes to Ericsson's Stock Incentive Program Industrivärden today subscribed for shares in a directed cash issue as part of Ericsson's Stock Incentive Program for all its employees. The participation is a natural part of its work as an active owner on supporting its major holding companies in strategic matters. The resolution on the issuance was made at Ericsson's Annual General Meeting on March 28, 2001. In the cash issue, 77,500,000 Class C shares were directed at Industrivärden. The subscription price corresponds to the par value of the shares, SEK 1. The new shares were subscribed and paid for on April 30, 2001. Ericsson's board of directors was authorized by the Annual General Meeting to acquire all Class C shares in order to subsequently transfer them to the Group's employees. The directed offer is expected to be completed prior to the summer 2001. Additional information about Ericsson's Global Stock Incentive Program and the related issues is provided in the company's press releases of March 29 and April 27, 2001. Industrivärden's holding in Ericsson subsequently amounts to 186,000,000 Class A shares and 77,500,000 Class C shares, corresponding to 28.0 percent of the votes and 3.3 percent of the capital stock in the company.
